i've tried joing several times but must have been doing something wrong, so i thought i'd try one more time and it finally worked.. i was a born-in jw.

in sweden we are now checking the attendance/baptisms ratio at some conventions by simply divide the number of baptisms to the attendance number.. far ago in the 70-ies it was like 5% before 1975. last year we was around 0,55%.

(quite like the italy in fact ).

this year we have counted only 2 conventions this far.

Last year we was around 0,55%

(quite like the Italy in fact )
2009: 338/70000 (0,48%)

This year we have counted only 2 conventions this far
0.5% and a whooping of only 0.2% at one!

This cult is on the way down here for sure!

I am sure this has come up before but if most members here are DFd, or inactive then why call this site Jehovah´s witness.net? It implies that all are active witnesses here. Shouldn´t it be called FormerWitness.net or something more fitting?

This board actually started as a true Jehovas-Witness site (!)
But when people come together and things beeing discussed with open minds... the board turn into what it is today.

What year Did you Stop Attending Meetings - How Long were you a JW ?

i'm trying to compare some statistics and figures on this to share later in the thread to see if more long-time witnesses are exiting- or are newer witnesses exiting after a shorter period of time.

and - are more people exiting in the last 10 to 15 years than before.

so your answers would be helpful in looking into this .
